General energy efficiency rebates

Enbridge Gas Inc. is offering the Home Efficiency Rebate, a number of rebates for homeowners across the province, and those rebates include:

• Air Source Heat Pump: $6500 Install a completely new or replacement variable capacity cold climate air source heat pump system, intended to serve the entire home
• Attic Insulation: Between $325 and $2950 for insulation for attics
• Audit Rebate: Included in the maximum allowed
• Air sealing: Up to $1300 for achieved air sealing
• Windows & Doors: Up to $325 for each window, door, or skylight you replace
• Water heaters:  $1300 to Replace domestic water heater with an energy star certified domestic hot water heat pump
• Thermostats: $125 for upgrading to a smart thermostat
• Cathedral/Flat roof insulation: Up to $800 for Increase cathedral/flat roof insulation
• Exterior wall insulation: Up to $6750 for adding insulation value
• Exposed floor insulation: $450 to add insulation value of at least the entire exposed floor area
• Basement insulation: Up to $2000 for adding insulation value to the basement
• Basement slab insulation: $550 to seal and insulate basement slab
• Basement header insulation: $325 to seal and insulating the basement header
• Crawlspace insulation (including header area): Up to $1700 for adding insulation value of exterior crawl space wall area
• Solar panels: Up to $1000 for installing solar panels

Are you eligible?

• You’re planning to renovate or replace old equipment, and haven’t yet started the work.
• You’re a residential Enbridge Gas customer or a Non-Enbridge Gas customer.
• You own a detached, semi-detached, row townhouse or a mobile home with a permanent foundation.
